Raffles International
has appointed Mr. Brad Beaty as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Raffles Resort at Canouan
Island, The Grenadines. He will be based in New York.
The luxury resort
destination, scheduled to open in the summer of 2004, is set in its own private
1,200 acres of land and will feature one and two storey villas offering 156
luxurious accommodations with ocean views, an 18-hole championship-grade
golf course, a luxury Amrita spa, and four restaurants and bars.
Mr. Beaty has more than 14 years of hotel sales and marketing experience,
including a track record of eight years with luxury resorts in the Caribbean.
Prior to joining Raffles Resort at Canouan Island, Mr. Beaty was with Orient-Express Hotels' La Samanna in French St. Martin after a stint with Four
Seasons Resort Nevis, West Indies. Mr. Beaty's experience also includes corporate sales management
positions with two New York City hotels, The Mark and The Hemsley Palace. Mr. Beaty received his degree in International
Business from University of Colorado. |
