Santiburi Dusit Resort, Samui to close for Renovations

The luxurious resort property on the idyllic island of Koh Samui in Southern Thailand, the Santiburi Dusit Resort, is closing for a month between 1- 31 July, 2003 to perform renovations.

Saisunee Hanliangwongse, Director of Marketing & Sales for the resort commented, "As a member of The Leading Small Hotels of The World, we must maintain our status as Koh Samui's leading resort"

"Therefore, we have decided to undergo renovation of our signature swimming pool and surrounding landscape, as well as other guest facilities and will close the resort during the period of July 1 to 31, 2003. We will be open for business on August 1, 2003."

"Be assured that the resort will re-open better than ever to continue exceeding the expectations of our guests." Saisunee concluded.

The hotel has said its sales and marketing, reservations and accounting departments will continue to operate during the renovation.
