Thai Airways International to launch Chiang Mai - Luang Prabang flights

Thai Airways International is to launch a new flight from Chiang Mai in Thailand to Luang Prabang in Laos on 29 November 2003 for the airline's winter programme.

Luang Prabang is the most important city located north of Laos, a well known tourist destination, with cultural and architectural wonders and other tourist attractions. Luang Prabang attracts a large number of Thai and overseas tourists as well as businessmen and investors.

The flight from Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang will be operated on the ATR 72 aircraft with three flights a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

TG 688 departs Chiang Mai at 08:20hrs and arrives in Luang Prabang at 09:30hrs. TG 689 will depart Luang Prabang at 10:00hrs and arrives in Chiang Mai at 11:15hrs.
