Thai Airways International to Order 7 Boeing 747-400s from United Airlines

Thai Airways International’s Board of Directors has approved for the airline to proceed to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding to purchase 7 Boeing 747-400 aircraft from United Airlines, pending consideration and approval from the Thai Cabinet.

United Airlines’ 7 Boeing 747-400 aircraft will consist of 5 aircraft manufactured in 1998 and 2 aircraft manufactured in 1997. Each of the seven planes will be equipped with 347 seats each and Pratt & Whitney engines.
