The Ritz-Carlton, Bali Resort and Spa offers Guests Wireless Wi-Fi Solutions

Travel News Asia 25 August 2003

While on holiday or on business, guests now can stay connected to the world while roaming within the The Ritz-Carlton, Bali Resort and Spa through one of Bali's first Wi-Fi Hotspot services.

The award-winning resort is among the first hotels in Indonesia to offer guests wireless broadband service. Through innovative Biznet Hotspot technology, notebook users have full Internet access, without cables, within the resort. High-speed broadband Internet access connections are available for computer users with Wireless LAN Technology, with access speeds of up to 22 Mbps. The system can be used with any notebooks or PDAs with Wi-Fi  enabled cards, available from the hotel, for both Windows and Macintosh operating systems.

"Making the latest innovations available to our guests adds value to their stay and gives the resort an added advantage for the business travel and conference market," said the resort's General Manager David Wilson. "Response from the outset has been overwhelmingly positive," he added.
