Virgin Atlantic adds tailor service to its innovative Clubhouse at Heathrow

Travel News Asia 25 June 2003

Virgin Atlantic has added yet another new and innovative product to its Virgin Clubhouse at Heathrow, with the launch of Dress2Kill's bespoke tailoring service. From today passengers in the airline's Upper Class lounge can be measured up for a new suit or shirt, which will be ready for delivery anywhere in the world in just four weeks.

Sir Richard Branson, Chairman of Virgin Atlantic said:

"When Dress2Kill offered to measure me up for a suit a few weeks ago I was so impressed with the quality and value of service that I wanted to offer it to our Upper Class passengers.

"We are committed to offering our passengers a wide range of luxury services both on the ground and in the air from Limo transfers to Drive Thru Check In and even haircuts and beauty treatments in the Virgin Touch Salon. We are delighted to be able to offer this bespoke service in the Heathrow Clubhouse."

James Hibbert, the owner of Dress2Kill said:

"We are very excited about this new venture and are confident that the convenience of this service, which takes the hassle out of clothes shopping, will appeal to Virgin Atlantic's Upper Class passengers. This new service means that Virgin Atlantic passengers can be the most stylish in the air!"

The service will be offered by Victoria Stebbings, Dress2Kill's lady tailor and takes no longer than 20 minutes, giving passengers ample time to enjoy the rest of the facilities in the Clubhouse. The bespoke suits and shirts are available in an extensive range of fabrics and styles.

Dress2Kill will be available from midday until 8pm daily in the Clubhouse. Prices start from 325 for a bespoke suit and made to measure shirts are available from 60.
