Korean Air to expand codeshare routes with Delta

Korean Air and Delta Air Lines have decided to expand their codeshare into additional routes.

Effective 26 April, Korean Air will codeshare with Delta flights on an additional 22 routes within U.S. including Salt Lake City, Cincinnati, Montgomery and etc.

Meanwhile, Delta will add 10 additional codeshare destinations on Korean Air from US to Japan beginning on 1 May and 3 additional cities in Southeast Asia beginning on 15 May, respectively.

Delta's newly added codeshare routes on Korean Air in the Japanese region include flights from Incheon to Fukuoka, Nagoya, Nagasaki, Aomori, Akita, Okayama, Oita, Sapporo, Kagoshima, and Niigata.

As for Southeast Asia, Delta will codeshare on Korean Air flights from Incheon to Hong Kong, Auckland and Kuala Lumpur.

Korean Air's codeshare routes on Delta will increase from 23 to 45 within the US while Delta can now codeshare on 25 Korean Air routes, up from 12 routes. Korean Air plans to continue its codeshare route expansion up to 100 routes within this year.
