China Southern launches promotion with 38 Shangri-La & Traders Hotels

China Southern Airlines the largest airline in The People's Republic of China, has announced that members of its Sky Pearl Club can receive savings up to 40% at all Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts and Traders Hotels available now through February 28, 2003 as part of the new "Rate Break" promotion.

The Sky Pearl Club is the largest frequent flyer program in China with more than 1.7 Million members and more than 25,000 new members joining every week. China Southern Airlines has been FFP partners with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts since June 2000.

In addition to the significantly reduced rates, which include complimentary breakfast, Shangri-La and Traders hotels are offering double FFP miles at all hotels during the same promotional period for members of The Sky Pearl Club.

Sky Pearl Club members currently earn 800 Kilometers for each stay for non-discounted rack rates or corporate rates and must present their membership card at check-in.

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has nearly 20,000 rooms and 38 hotels located in the Chinese mainland, Fiji, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. 

China Southern Airlines connects more than 80 cities around the globe. Major business and vacation destinations served in China include: Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Guilin, Hong Kong, Kunming, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Wuhan and as well as international service, including: Amsterdam, Bangkok, Fukuoka, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Los Angeles, Manila, Melbourne, Osaka, Penang, Phnom Penh, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.
