Business as Usual at the Holiday Inn Manila, Philippines

Travel News Asia 23 January 2003

Acesite (Phils.) Hotel Corporation (APHC), owner of Holiday Inn Manila, has announced that it has received a notice of pre-termination of its Hotel Management  Agreement from Holiday Inn (Philippines), Inc. as a result of differences  in the interpretation of the said agreement, effective February 28, 2003.

APHC re-assures its patrons of continued dedication to service  excellence, guests' comfort, security and satisfaction, and consistent  adherence to the hospitality industry guidelines and requirements.

Its strict compliance with the local Fire Safety rules, as well as local Health, Sanitation and Hygiene regulations has always been and will remain a strong commitment to its guests and employees.

The hotel is one of the forerunners in the Philippine hospitality industry, having been built in the late 60's as a Hilton hotel. It was operated by APHC in 1989 as the Manila Pavilion Hotel until its turn-over to the Holiday Inn management team in 1995. The Acesite property has 590 rooms, including an executive floor and six food and beverage outlets offering a wide range of international and local cuisine.
