Six
Senses Hotels, Resorts & Spas has announced that Pierre Camorani has been appointed to the position of General
Manager of the luxurious Soneva Gili Resort & Spa.
Pierre’s hospitality experience includes fourteen years in Asia Pacific. In 1987
He joined Accor Hotels & Resorts in French Polynesia as Rooms Division
Manager. He relocated to Hua Hin Thailand as Executive Assistant Manager,
then to Xian China at the Golden Flower Hotel in a similar role.
His next position was with
Peninsula Group’s Palace Hotel in Beijing as Rooms Division Manager, and in 1995 Pierre joined Century in the Philippines
and Vietnam as General Manager. Whilst in Vietnam he joined Stamford Court
Residences as General Manager.
Pierre began his thirty-year hospitality career as a Pastry Chef in France
before moving into the Rooms Division. He is a French national and married
with two young children.
