Andreas Nauheimer appointed General Manager of Hyatt Regency Mumbai

A native German with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, spanning seven countries, Andreas Nauheimer has been appointed as the General Manager of Hyatt Regency Mumbai.

After graduating from the German Hotel School, Andreas started his career in 1984 with the Frankfurt Sheraton, Germany as Assistant Chief Steward. He first joined Hyatt International in 1987 as Assistant Restaurant Manager, Hyatt Cancun Caribe Villas and Resort, Mexico. In less than a year he was promoted  to the position of Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at Hyatt Regency Cologne, Germany. With a strong background in Food & Beverage Management, Andreas held key Food & Beverage positions in several Hyatt hotels in Mexico, Australia and Korea until January 2000.

In January 2000, at the age of 35, Andreas became the General Manager of Park Hyatt Buenos Aires, Argentina. Thereafter, he moved on to Grand Hyatt  Erawan Bangkok as Manager of the 387 room hotel, which was his last assignment before relocating to India.

Andreas lives in Mumbai with his wife Andrea, 11 - year old daughter Sabrina and seven year old son Mike.
