Executive Appointments from Le Méridien Cyberport Hong Kong

 Le Méridien Cyberport has announced two new appointments with Andrew Hickey joining as  Executive Assistant Manager and Floortje Jeukens as Resident Manager.

Andrew Hickey has he worked in leading hotels in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia, prior to that, he held a similar position at the Harbour Plaza North Point in Hong Kong. Overseeing six food and beverage outlets, Andrew's mission is to create what the hotel describes as 'a whole new dining experience in Hong Kong'.

Floortje Jeukens will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the overall hotel operations and driving a list of initiatives to strengthen the positioning of the brand.

Floortje has been working at Le Méridien for over 9 years. Graduated from the Hotel Management School in Maastricht, the Netherlands, she began her career with Forte Hotel Apollo in Amsterdam September 1994, which then re-branded to Le Meridien Apollo in 1995. She held various management positions including Reception Manager, Front office Manager and finally Revenue Manager, piloting the Revenue Management system within Le Méridien.

Floortje then transferred to Le Royal Meridien Bristol in Warsaw, Poland in 2000 as Rooms Division Manager in charge of Yield, and was promoted to Deputy General Manager in 2002.

Le Meridien Cyberport is due to open in December 2003 and will feature 42 inch plasma screen television in every room, wireless broadband connectivity, cutting edge in-room entertainment system, contemporary walk-in rain showers and a list of innovative service initiatives.
