EIBTM the annual global exhibition for the incentive, business travel and meetings industry, held 20-22 May 2003 in Geneva, Switzerland – has announced details of an Association Networking Evening in conjunction with leading association ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association).

Held on Tuesday 20th May, the Association Networking Evening will be an informal gathering on a boat cruising on Lake Geneva, the MS Lausanne, with entertainment and complimentary food and drinks. The event is open to Association Executives taking part in the EIBTM 2003 Association  Programme in Conjunction with ESAE (European Society of Association Executives), and exhibitors at EIBTM 2003.

According to Debbie Jackson, EIBTM’s Exhibition Director,“The networking evening will allow exhibitors and targeted association members to increase their business potential while relaxing and taking in the stunning scenery. EIBTM is working with ESAE, ICCA, MPI (Meeting Professionals  International) and ASAE (American Society of Association Executives) to identify the highest quality Association Executives to personally invite onto the EIBTM 2003 Association Programme, and we are delighted to offer our exhibitors the chance to get to know these key industry players in an informal setting.”

Martin Sirk, ICCA's Chief Executive Officer, said, "ICCA members view international Association Buyers as one of the most important market segments attracted to EIBTM, and we are determined to offer them the  strongest possible networking and business-to-business environment in which to meet with these clients. We are pleased that Reed Travel Exhibitions has identified this segment for particular attention, and that they are investing in this excellent new networking initiative."

The EIBTM 2003 Association Programme in Conjunction with ESAE offers qualified Association Executives complimentary air travel from a European  airport, overnight accommodation, full-seminar programme and learning experience plus access to an Association Pavilion and the networking evening.
