Monaco's Liveras yachts to launch mega-yacht at Arabian Travel Market

Travel News Asia 20 April 2003

Monaco-based owner and charterer Liveras Yachts is to launch Sea Change, a revolutionary partial ownership scheme for ocean-going super-yachts at Arabian Travel Market in Dubai next month.

Liveras Yachts, which could soon have a permanent presence in the Gulf, will also use the premier travel and tourism show for the regional launch of its new mega-yacht fleet.

"The Middle East and especially Dubai has seen massive multi-billion dollar investment in the leisure sector of late with developments such as the Palm Island project. We think that there is a great untapped resource here for our product," said Kyri Kyriacou, Director Liveras Yachts and Vice Chairman of Sea Change.

On its stand at Arabian Travel Market Liveras Yachts will display models of its new mega-yachts the Annaliesse and her sister ship, Alysia.

Liveras Yachts is the sole yacht charterer exhibiting at Arabian Travel Market, which will be held at the Airport Expo Dubai, from May 6-9.

"ATM is renowned as a venue for major product launches and this year will  be no different with a host of exhibitors signalling their intention to bring new products to market. For regional tourism professionals this makes the show a vital information tool," said Matt Thompson, Group Exhibition Director, Overseas Events, Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE), which organises the show.

To date, some 736 exhibitors from 55 countries have contracted for Arabian Travel Market, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
