Air New Zealand and FARSA reach agreement

Travel News Asia 20 March 2003

Air New Zealand and FARSA (Flight Attendants and Related Services Association) today jointly announced they have resolved proceedings between the two parties.

This averted court proceedings between Air New Zealand and FARSA due to be heard by a full bench of the Employment Court today.

Air New Zealand Senior Vice President Customer Services Brendan Fitzgerald and FARSA Executive Officer Billy Boreham said both parties were pleased they had reached agreement in principle to settle their differences, they added they were confident of fully resolving matters between them.

The parties are due to meet tomorrow to formalise today's in-principle
agreement in the next step towards settlement of a final agreement.
