IT&CMA Announces Dates for 2003 and 2004

Travel News Asia 18 February 2003

The organizers of IT&CMA, TTG Asia Media (TTG), have announced that the 11th Incentive Travel & Conventions, Meetings Asia (IT&CMA) exhibition will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on 4-6 November 2003. For 2004 the dates have been fixed for 12 – 14 October 2004.

For 2003 IT&CMA has been rescheduled to the first week of November due to the APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation) Ministerial Summit, which will be held in Bangkok this year. The venue for IT&CMA 2003 will remain at the Impact Convention Center in Bangkok and the theme is “Expanding Your Borders and Opportunities”.

Consequently, ICCA (International Congress & Convention Association) has also announced that the dates for its 7th ICCA Congress & Exhibition incorporating the 42nd General Assembly have been moved forward a week to avoid a clash with IT&CMA 2003. The event will now be held in Busan,  Korea from 26 to 29 October 2003 (instead of 2 – 5 November 2003).

ICCA’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Martin Sirk said, “I am delighted that the timing of this year’s ICCA General Assembly and Congress in Busan, Korea will enable so many ICCA members to participate in the IT&CMA exhibition in  Bangkok. Both events offer critical yet complementary business opportunities for our members, and in this year of business and economic uncertainty it is vita that no such opportunities are missed.”

ICCA has been endorsing IT&CMA since its inaugural show in 1993. The association and its members have also been supporting the event through  delivering presentations at the seminars and exhibiting at the show with their members.
