Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort & Towers to add Wellness Centre

Weekends at an oasis of leisure are the promise of the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort & Towers, which, following a major refurbishment of rooms and restaurants, is adding a new wellness centre as part of its extensive range of recreation facilities.

According to Executive Assistant Manager, Arjun Channa, the new massage and treatment menu being devised will be an added bonus for guests, complementing the lush landscaping, beach and aquatic facilities, and al fresco dining that makes the resort a perfect retreat, whether for a breakaway weekend or a longer holiday.

The hotel is offering a Weekend package of Dhs 450 net per night for a double room (double occupancy) inclusive of breakfast and buffet dinner at the Palm Garden restaurant. These prices are available until September 15, 2003.

"With the hundreds of palm trees in our gardens, we have a real oasis here, one that provides shelter during the heat of the day and an atmosphere of tropical magic under moonlit skies," he said.

At the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort & Towers - located on Dubai's famed Jumeirah beach - marine sports facilities include water ski-ing and parasailing, banana boats, knee-boards and windsurfers, while tennis, squash and beach volleyball are also on offer, and the little ones can enjoy their own Pirate's Club with activities from face-painting to football.

As well as weekend barbecues, visitors can alternatively dine on the Palm Garden terrace, or at the Beach Bar restaurant by the pool.

The hotel has recently been fully renovated with all rooms and suites featuring custom-designed furnishings and fabrics, new tiled floors and fully interactive televisions offering direct Internet access, Sony play stations and on-screen access to services such as in-room dining and destination information.

New restaurants include The Grill Room, a stylish brick and wood venue with open kitchen featuring speciality Australian and US meats and the all-day meeting place, The Coffee House, while the popular Peacock restaurant has been revamped with a Zen-style design.
