'Knowledge is Power' theme for 2004 ICCA Asia Pacific Youth Forum

Travel News Asia 16 October 2003

Knowledge is Power, is the theme for the 2004 ICCA Asia Pacific Youth Forum, to be held just prior to AIME 2004, in Melbourne in February. It will be the fourth time the popular Asia Pacific Youth Forum has been held during AIME.

With a first class line-up of leading industry speakers plus creative workshops on the international meetings business, this packed, two-day programme is a must. It also includes attendance at AIME 2004, and the AIME 2004 Professional Development Seminars.

“The ICCA Asia Pacific Youth Forums have proven to be extremely rewarding for all involved,” said Forum manager, Elizabeth Rich. “Participants especially appreciate the networking, the sense of industry identity, and the broader international perspectives this ICCA forum provides.”

Around 20 young people wanting to further their meeting industry careers are expected to attend. The aim of the Forum is to encourage and educate people under 30 years of age who are keen to learn more about the international meetings industry.

The ICCA Asia Pacific Youth Forum is free to all ICCA members’ staff under 30 years of age, providing members with a great incentive opportunity for their most promising staff.

Non ICCA Members can apply with a registration fee of AUD$220 including GST.
