Mediterranean Travel Fair confirms Educational Seminar Programme

Travel News Asia 15 July 2003

The organisers of Mediterranean Travel Fair, Reed Travel Exhibitions, have announced that a full educational seminar programme has been confirmed for this year's event. It is to run along side the exhibition being held at the Cairo International Convention & Exhibition Centre from 16-18 September this year.

"Each year the seminar programme grows in popularity. We are delighted at this years response, which has enabled us to put together a varied and extended programme", said Vicky Redwood, Marketing Manager, Mediterranean Travel Fair. "The seminar programme is an important element to the event as it provides delegates with the opportunity to gain a valuable insight into the industry's latest 'hot topics' and business practices".

The programme to date includes a session run by Market Vision, the international Middle Eastern partner to IPK on "Gulf Travel Trends". Representatives from MPI (Meeting Professionals International) and CIMPA (Connected International Meeting Professionals Association) will cover topics related to the meetings and incentive market in two separate sessions "Trends in the Global Meetings and Event Industry" and "International Meetings in a Changed Meetings World".

Intoegypt.com, one of the regions on-line travel planning companies will host a seminar on "e-Marketing Benefits to the Travel Industry", and the MTF will also be looking into the future with Space Adventures who will be conducting a session on "The Next Frontier in Travel: Space Tourism".

This presentation given by Christopher Faranetta will focus on the space experiences available today and in the future as well as highlighting how space tourism integrates with both adventure and luxury travel and corporate incentives & rewards.

The seminars will be free of charge to all delegates and no pre-booking is required, seats at each seminar are available on a first come first served basis.
