Lan Chile announces new Australia schedule

Lan Chile, the international airline of Chile, has announced it will operate three weekly flights from Sydney to Auckland and Santiago under the northern summer schedule.

Effective from April 2003, flight LA 800 will depart Sydney every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10.15am, arriving in Auckland at 3.30pm and in Santiago at 12.40pm the same day.

The return service, flight LA 801, departs Santiago at 11.15pm every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, arriving in Auckland at 4.25am and Sydney at 7.25am every Wednesday, Friday and Monday.

Lan Chile operates three-class Airbus A340 aircraft, configured to seat five passengers in First Class, 36 in Business Class and 218 in Economy Class.

The airline has steadily grown its traffic from Australia since commencing  services last year. Services are operated by Lan Chile aircraft and Qantas has a seat-share arrangement on the same services.

Lan Chile offers a broad network of destinations throughout South America, and is a member of the global oneworld alliance.
