'Trashed and Tasteless' in Bali - SKAL Charity Ball 2003

The annual SKAL "Charity" Ball held in Bali is to take place on Saturday, September 13, 2003 in the Ballroom of Discovery Kartika Plaza from 6.30 PM until late. The goal of the event is to raise much-needed funds for selected charities and scholarships, especially for tourism trainings through auctions and raffles. 

 The Ball will be one of the highlights of Bali's busy social calendar. Ticket prices, which include a surprise welcome drink, buffet dinner, free flow of wine, soft drinks and a variety show with DJ is Rp. 400,000 (US$ 50) per person or a table of ten at Rp. 3.8 million (US$ 475). The theme for this year's Annual CharityBall will be "Trashed and Tasteless".

Chairperson of the ball, Ms. Van Kuijk said "This is an opportunity for you to let your hair down, relax, have a good time and forget about the worries of yesterday. We have all had a very busy and difficult year, so we see this is an opportunity for welcoming everyone to come and join us for a great  evening of fun."

Total Target audience for this fund raising function is until 300 travel and tourism related industry managers and executives. Of course enjoying a fantastic party is not the only reason for this year's event. The committee is looking for community support to make the SKAL "Charity" Ball 2003 successful.

The ball committee said it welcomes companies or individuals who would like to donate some sponsorship either in cash or products.
