Not sure how to use the RSS / XML feed we provide?
RSS stands
for Really Simple Syndication, developed quite a few years ago it is
only recently that it has become mainstream and most websites are
finally beginning to offer a few different feeds.
Our XML feed, which features all our
Latest Travel News can be inserted into a website you operate,
or you can make use of a special reader that helps you to receive
all your favourite content every time something new is published.
Our RSS / XML Feed is often updated numerous
times in one day mainly between Monday and Friday.
If you do not have one already you will
need to install and use an RSS reader program, IE7 has one built
in. This displays RSS feeds from your chosen websites on your
computer. All you then have to do is choose which RSS feeds you
want. There is a range of different readers available. Do note
though that different readers work on different operating systems,
so it is best to check this before you download one.
Some examples: Windows: Feed Reader,
Sharp Reader Mac: NetNewsWire Web-based (accessed via your
browser): Bloglines
Once you have the RSS reader just follow
the instructions of your particular reader in order to add a feed
to your RSS list. Typically, this involves cutting and pasting the
url:
http://www.asiatraveltips.com/travelnews.xml into the
subscribe function of your chosen reader.
For
websites we also offer a
Free Ticker featuring the Latest Travel News.
