China Airlines to Launch Direct Flights to
Chiang Mai, Thailand

China Airlines has unveiled plans to launch direct
flights between Taipei and Chiang Mai, Thailand on 23 June 2020.
China Airlines will operate the Taipei (Taoyuan) -
Chiang Mai route four times per week with Boeing 737-800 aircraft
with a total seating capacity of 158.
Flights will depart every Tuesday,
Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Flight CI851 will is scheduled to depart from
Taipei at 07:30 and arrive in Chiang Mai at 10:20 local time.
Flight CI852 is timed to leave the northern Thai
city at 11:20 and
arrive back in Taipei at 16:35 local time.
China Airlines is expanding its global network by
targeting European, American and Oceania travelers transiting
through Taiwan, as well as the increasing popularity of
self-guided tours amongst Taiwanese travelers.
The carrier currently
flies to 72 destinations including 15 in Southeast Asia, 16 in
Northeast Asia, 27 in China, and 14 in Europe, America and
Oceania. The 712 return flights a week provide travelers with a
wide range of flying options.
