Thai AirAsia is about to launch a home delivery
service of its most popular in-flight F&B options such as
stir-fried yentafo, teriyaki chicken and rice, basil rice with
fried egg, and mango with two-tone sticky rice.
The meals need to be heated before eating.
In addition to the chilled food, the AirAsia Delivery menu
also includes Boba Tea, Thai Tea and Pink Milk Tea, all available
in individual cups or as a 1 liter package that can serve between
4 and 6 people.
The AirAsia Delivery service will commence on 8
May on LINE. Items can be ordered a la carte or as a set.
The service will initially be available in two areas
- Don Mueang (@airasiadonmuang) and
Ratchathewi (@airasiaratchathewi) - and there is a delivery radius
of 10 kilometers from each
Orders can be made on the day or can be pre-ordered a day in advance before 17:00.
Director of In-Flight Products and Services for
AirAsia Thailand, Ornanong Methapipattanakul, said, “What makes our delivery service so special, apart
from our rich Boba Tea, which is already ordered in-flight over
40,000 times a month, is that we are offering the tea in a 1 liter
size for the entire family, the option to order Boba on their own
as well as an array of other delectable sweet and savory menu
items ready for convenient delivery from AirAsia with only a 30
THB delivery charge within service areas.”
Thai AirAsia resumed a select number of domestic
flights in Thailand on 1 May but due to COVID19 restrictions is
not serving any F&B on board.
