in Nonthaburi Closes for Two Months
|
The 774-room Grand Richmond Convention
Hotel on the outskirts of Bangkok has closed for two months.
Located in Nonthaburi, next to the Bang Krasor
Purple Line MRT station and just 20 minutes from
Sukhumvit Road in the heart of Thailand's capital city, the hotel
has only recently completed a multi-million dollar extension.
In addition to the 455 guest rooms in the old
wing, the brand new 35-storey tower features 339 more guest rooms,
parking for up to 1,000 cars and an impressive 1,260 sqm ballroom
that can easily be partitioned into three.
The hotel also has numerous F&B outlets, a spa,
swimming pool and a fitness centre.
The well established hotel has long been popular
with Chinese travellers and tour groups, weddings and the domestic MICE market,
especially government events.
The hotel will be closed all of April and May
2020.
