Delta’s planned consolidation of its US-Tokyo
operation from Narita to Haneda Airport officially began on 28
The change has been a year in the making,
with flights transitioning from Narita to Haneda, the airport
closest to Tokyo’s city center.
The change is part of Delta’s
long-term network strategy to increase customer connectivity
between the U.S. and Asia Pacific.
In addition to Tokyo-Haneda,
Delta has retained cargo tender and acceptance
capabilities at Tokyo-Narita, expanding options and choice for
customers at both airports.
