Eighth Diamond Training Aircraft
|
The airBaltic Pilot Academy has taken delivery of
its eighth Diamond training aircraft.
Pauls Cālītis, airBaltic Chief Operations Officer,
said, “Our Pilot Academy has managed to gain significant track
record and continue its expansion. We have worked hard to offer
opportunities for students to benefit greatly while learning from
the first-hand experience of our professional instructors.”
airBaltic Training also recently received
certification to establish an Authorized Service Centre for
Diamond Aircraft at its base in Liepaja International Airport.
The training academy will receive an additional
two single-engine DA40 NG training aircraft from Diamond Aircraft
in 2021.
Anton Shirkovskiy, Sales Manager at Diamond
Aircraft Industries GmbH in Austria, said, “We are very happy to
support the growth of airBaltic Training and are looking forward
to further supply the academy with our state-of-the-art and the
industry’s safest training platforms.”
