Thai Airways Appoints Chansin Treenuchagron as
Acting President
|
Thai Airways has appointed Mr. Chansin
Treenuchagron, a relatively new member of the airline's Board of Directors,
as Acting President, effective 2 July 2020.
Mr. Chansin Treenuchagron replaced Pailin
Chuchottaworn as a board member of Thai Airways in early June.
The decision to appoint him as Acting President
follows a special Board of Directors meeting, chaired by ACM
Chaiyapruk Didyasarin, in which the resignation of Mr. Chakkrit
Parapuntakul, Thai Airways' previous Acting President, was
approved. He remains as Second Vice Chairman of Thai Airways.
Mr. Chansin Treenuchagron previously worked as
President of Thailand's oil and gas conglomerate, PTT.
He has a Bachelor's Degree of Economics from Thammasat University and a Master's Degree of Economics
from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.
