Roger Brantsma Joins 825-Room Hilton Tokyo as
General Manger

Roger Brantsma has joined the 825-room Hilton Tokyo
as General Manger.
With a background in F&B and over 20
years with Hilton Hotels and Resorts, Roger began his
career at the Hilton Amsterdam before becoming Director of
Operations at the Hilton Sharks Bay Resort (Egypt), Hilton Phuket
Resort & Spa (Thailand) and Hilton Sydney (Australia).
His first GM appointment was at the Hilton
Chennai (India) in 2011.
Roger has also worked as
the cluster GM at the Hilton Auckland and Hilton Lake Taupo in New Zealand.
He was awarded “New Zealand’s General Manager of
the Year 2016” before moving to Japan in January 2017 as General
Manager of the Hilton Tokyo Bay, a Tokyo Disney Resort official
hotel.
Roger said, “I feel very honored to be
appointed as the General Manager of Hilton Tokyo, both Hilton’s
flagship hotel in Japan and the first international hotel to have
entered Japan. I will strive to bring this hotel and the team to
another level.”
