|
(31 Oct 2021)
Max Knagge, SAS’ Head of Sales - USA, has been
appointed as CEO of SAS Cargo.
Max succeeds Leif Rasmussen who is leaving his
position as CEO of SAS Cargo Group A/S after 38 years of service
with the company.
The transition starts immediately, with Max Knagge
officially assuming the role on 1 January 2021.
“I am
confident Max will build on SAS Cargo’s history and continue
developing its role as an important provider of critical transport
infrastructure, globally as well as within Scandinavia,” said Kjetil Håbjørg, EVP & Chief Services Officer, SAS.
“His strong
track record at SAS and international experience makes him an
ideal candidate to successfully take over the reins at SAS Cargo.”
SAS Cargo has played a pivotal role during the COVID19 pandemic, transporting medical equipment, goods
and cargo.
