The keyless entry functionality adds to Fuel Mobile App's rapidly expanding features set that already includes the capability to check-in or out without visiting the front desk, the ability to book a future stay, the option to order room service from your mobile phone, and the flexibly to communicate with the property in real-time.

"With the integration of Assa Abloy Mobile Access solution into the Fuel Mobile App, independent hotels can now meet the demands of increasingly tech-savvy guests and can compete directly with corporate hotels in terms of mobile app functionality," said Stuart Butler, chief operating officer of Fuel. "Improving guest experience with technology is a top priority in the hospitality industry and we truly believe that the integration of Mobile Key functionality is a critical step toward that goal."
