Adria Airways Leaves Star Alliance

The Slovenian airline Adria Airways, headquartered in Ljubljana, is no longer a member of Star Alliance.

The departure of Adria Airways from Star Alliance follows the companyís recent bankruptcy developments and cessation of all flight operations on 30 September.

Adria Airways had been a member of Star Alliance for 15 years.

Star Alliance members Lufthansa, Brussels Airlines and SWISS have all recently announced additional routes and frequencies to Ljubljana.
