Vietjet to Launch Saigon - Narita and Danang - Haneda Flights

Vietjet has unveiled plans to launch flights between Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) and Tokyo Narita, as well as between Danang and Tokyo Haneda.

Vietjet currently operates three direct routes connecting Vietnam and Japan, connecting Saigon and Hanoi to Osaka, and Hanoi with Tokyo Narita.

Vietjet will operate the Saigon - Narita flights on a daily basis from 12 July 2019. With a flight time of around six hours per leg, flights are timed to depart from Saigon at 00:05 and land in Tokyo at 08:00. The return flight is scheduled to depart from Tokyo at 08:55 and arrives in Saigon at 13:00.

 The Danang - Haneda route will operate on a daily basis from 26 October 2019. With a flight time of approximately five hours and thirty minutes per leg, flights are scheduled to leave Danang at 18:10 and land in Tokyo at 01:00. The return flight is timed to depart from Tokyo at 02:30 and arrive back in Danang at 06:40.

Vietnam's Prime Minister, Nguyen Xuan Phuc, said, ďVietjet has just been established for a few years but has developed rapidly, with a good record of safety and increasingly high quality services. With the expansion of international and domestic flight networks together with its new and modern fleet, Vietjet will become a strong carrier in the region. I would like to also congratulate Vietjet on becoming an official member of the Keidanren Ė Japan Business Federation (Japan), which is an important milestone for not only Vietjet but also Vietnamese businesses in general.Ē

The Japan Federation of Economic Organizations (Keidanren) is made up of around 1,500 members, including leading companies in Japan, national industrial associations, and regional economic organisations.
