Hong Kong Disneyland Opens Advance Ticket Sales for 10K Weekend 2019

Get your running shoes ready, as Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) has confirmed the dates of its popular 10K Weekend.

Scheduled to take place 2-3 November 2019, HKDL is working with select travel trade partners to offer runners in Asia Pacific the chance to enjoy early bird deals before before public registration opens in July.

Now in its fourth year, HKDL’s 10K Weekend 2019 presents a series of exciting themed events for runners of different ages and abilities.

This year, Joy and Sadness from Inside Out invite guests to pursue dreams and show perseverance in the Inside Out 5K race, while Woody and Buzz Lightyear will cheer on runners in the Toy Story 10K, with Mike and Sully adding fun to the Monsters, Inc. 3K. There will also be Mickey and Friends Kids Races organised for the little ones.

In addition to multiple categories of daytime races taking participants into the Hong Kong Disneyland theme park for an exclusive running experience, a “Pixar Pals Night Run Party” will be introduced this year in which runners can experience a Disney night run and invite their friends to enjoy a post-race party together at the theme park.

All enrolled runners will receive an exclusive runner’s pack, containing an event-themed T-shirt, a race bib and other goodies.

Runners will also be presented with a collectible event-only medal upon crossing the finish line, and there'll be limited-edition merchandise created especially for this year’s races.

The travel trade packages, currently available to runners in Asia Pacific before public registration opens in July, include:

• Enrolment for any of the 10K Weekend races (Monsters, Inc. 3K, Inside Out 5K, Toy Story 10K or Pixar Pals Night Run Party)
• 1 to 3 nights’ accommodation at Disney Explorers Lodge, Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel or Disney’s Hollywood Hotel
• 1-Day or 2-Day general admission ticket for Hong Kong Disneyland
• Other add-ons include character breakfast at designated restaurants.

The packages are introduced in partnership with the following travel trade partners in the region:

• Japan – packages offered by H.I.S. Co., Ltd., Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd and White Bear Family
• Korea – packages starting from KRW467,592 per pax, offered by WAUG
• Malaysia – packages starting from RM1,459 per pax, offered by Airlink Travel & Tour
• Thailand – packages starting from THB 5,990 per pax (min. 4 pax/room), offered by KTC World Travel Service.

Space for the event is limited and is expected to sell out quickly.
