FLC Hotels & Resorts, one of Vietnam's largest
and fastest growing hospitality companies, has launched FLC Prior,
a membership programme designed to give members a range of
benefits when staying at any of its hotels throughout the country.
FLC Prior costs 4.5 million Vietnamese Dong
(roughly US$ 193) to join and includes a membership card, one free
night, up to 50% discount off select services, exclusive VIP
benefits such as late check-out, and a gift set.
FLC currently has over 5,000 hotel rooms spread
around Vietnam and recently opened its flagship hotel in Halong. Despite being open only
for a few months, the FLC
Grand Halong, which features a
convention centre, a very impressive golf course and a spa, has already
hosted numerous high
profile international meetings and events.
Speaking at a press conference and travel agent
briefing in Halong on Saturday, Mr. Roland G. Svensson, General Manager
of the FLC Grand Halong, said, that with a loyalty programme "it
can sometimes take up to one year to get the benefits, but with
our card you get immediate benefits at a very reasonable price.
We've started out with FLC Prior and I am sure that as we move
forward and the company grows then we will move into loyalty, but
we wanted to give our guests the chance to enjoy the benefits
immediately rather than having to wait."
Sitting atop a hill, the FLC Grand Halong commands unbeatable and
almost 360-degree views of the UNESCO World Heritage site of
Halong Bay. Combine those stunning views with the luxury hotel, the
undulating golf course, variety of F&B options, convention centre
and an assortment of meeting and event space, and it is easy to
understand why Roland says that FLC's "aim is to become a favourite golf destination and favourite golf brand in the region
and throughout the world."
FLC also has plans to grow its luxury yacht
business, owns the newly launched airline Bamboo Airways, and is
looking to expand its portfolio not just in Vietnam, but abroad as
well.
