AirAsia Travel Advisory: Flying from Penang? Allow Extra Time

AirAsia is advising travellers who are departing from Penang International Airport in Malaysia to allow extra time to clear check-in formalities.

With increased airport congestion, travellers are being encouraged to allow an additional 45 minutes to complete the check-in and documentation check process.

Travellers who are flying from Penang International Airport are strongly advised to check-in online and print out their boarding pass.

Web and mobile check-in are available from 14 days prior to the departure of all AirAsia flights.

Travellers are also being encouraged to be at the airport at least 3 hours before their flight to avoid any travel inconvenience.

AirAsia passengers can check-in via the airline's website or on its app.
