Hainan Airlines Launches Flights Between Chengdu and Chicago, USA

Hainan Airlines has launched non-stop flights between Chengdu and Chicago, USA.

The airline will operate the new route two times per week with Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

Flight HU705 is scheduled to depart from Chengdu on Mondays and Fridays at 21:00 and arrive in Chicago at 22:10. Flight HU706 is timed to leave Chicago on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 00:10 and arrive in Chengdu at 04:10 the following day.

The new route is the airline's second direct service between mainland China and Chicago, following the initiation of flights between Beijing and Chicago.

It is also the third non-stop service between Chengdu and North America, as the airline also operates Chengdu-Los Angeles and Chengdu-New York flights.

Hainan Airlines now operates flights to several destinations in North America, including Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Mexico City, New York, Tijuana, Toronto and Vancouver.
