Tim Tate Appointed GM of DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort

Tim Tate has been appointed as General Manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort.

The new 290-room resort, located directly across from Patong Beach, is scheduled to open in Q3 2019.

Born and raised in Australia, Tim has more than 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry and boasts a strong operational background.

He has worked in Thailand, Vietnam and Maldives, and was most recently the Director of Operations at the long-standing Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa.

Tim has a keen interest in sustainability and actively encourages all Hilton hotels in South East Asia to support Hiltonís Travel with Purpose 2030 goal to cut the companyís environmental footprint in half and double investment in social impact. See also: Sustainable Hotels.
