Vietjet has launched flights between Saigon and
the newly opened Van Don International Airport in Vietnam's
northern Quang Ninh province.
The route connects
Vietnam's largest city with the islands of Quang Ninh province,
the gateway to UNESCO World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay and other
destinations around the area.
The Ho Chi Minh - Van
Don route will initially operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays
with a flight time of around two hours and 15 minutes per leg.

The flight is scheduled to depart from
Saigon at 07:00 and arrive at Van Don at 09:15. The return flight
is timed to take off at 09:50 and land in Ho Chi Minh at 12:05.
