ANA Warns of Change to Check-In and Security
Cut-Off Times
|
Japan's All Nippon Airways (ANA)
has announced that the check-in cut-off time for international
flights departing from Haneda Airport in Tokyo will be changed
from 40 minutes to 60 minutes prior to departure, effective 27 October 2019.
In addition, for all domestic flights
from any airport in Japan - not just Haneda, the cut-off time for passing through
the security check point will be changed from 15 minutes to 20
minutes. This change will also go into effect on 27 October 2019.
Similar changes were implemented last year on domestic flights
departing from Haneda Airport.
"We sincerely
appreciate the kind understanding and cooperation of our
passengers," said Masaki Yokai, Senior Vice President of ANA. "To
prepare for 2020 and beyond, we aim to adopt various measures to
create the best possible experience for our most valuable
customers."
Japan will host the Rugby World Cup this year
and the Olympics in 2020.
