The airline will initially operate the
new aircraft on domestic routes, followed by international
routes.
Sichuan Airlines operates an all Airbus fleet

Airbus dates back to 1995 when the airline introduced the A320,
becoming the first to operate an Airbus fly-by-wire aircraft on
the Chinese mainland.
It was also the first operator to take
delivery of a Tianjin assembled A320 Family aircraft.

Sichuan Airlines received its first A330 aircraft and in 2016 it
signed a Letter of Intent for leasing four A350-900s. In 2018
the airline signed an agreement with Airbus to order ten A350-900s.
