BHMA Takes Over Resort in Phuket, Thailand

BHMA, Flight Centre Travel Groupís hotels and accommodation business, has signed a management agreement for its first hotel in Patong, the main tourist destination in Phuket, Thailand.

Located only a few short steps from Patong beach, the X2 Vibe Phuket Patong resort has much of Patongís dining and entertainment district on its doorstep.

The property features 131 rooms and five villas, a restaurant and bar, spa, swimming pool, fitness centre, boutique shop, library, meeting room and tour desk.

Kent Davidson, Managing Director of BHMA, said, ďWe are delighted to have established a presence in Phuket, one of Flight Centre Travel Groupís most popular leisure markets. We are now working hard on entering other critical markets such as Bali, Fiji, Queensland and Maldives.Ē

The new location brings BHMAís X2 Vibe hotel portfolio to seven properties, and 27 total locations across the X2 Resorts, X2 Vibe Hotels and Away Resorts brands.

It follows the launch of BHMAís first Vietnam property, X2 Vibe Viet Tri Hotel, last month.
