BHMA, Flight Centre Travel Groupís hotels and
accommodation business, has signed a management agreement for its
hotel in Patong, the main tourist destination in Phuket, Thailand.
Located only a few short steps from Patong beach,
the X2 Vibe Phuket Patong resort has much of Patongís dining and
entertainment district on its doorstep.
The property features 131 rooms and
five villas, a restaurant and bar, spa, swimming pool, fitness
centre, boutique shop, library, meeting room and tour desk.
Kent Davidson, Managing Director of BHMA, said,
ďWe are delighted to have established a presence in Phuket, one of
Flight Centre Travel Groupís most popular leisure markets. We are
now working hard on entering other critical markets such as Bali,
Fiji, Queensland and Maldives.Ē
The new location brings BHMAís X2 Vibe hotel
portfolio to seven properties, and 27 total locations across the
X2 Resorts, X2 Vibe Hotels and Away Resorts brands.
It follows the launch of BHMAís first Vietnam
property, X2 Vibe Viet Tri Hotel, last month.
