Rosewood Opens Luxury Resort on New Providence Island, Bahamas

Rosewood has expanded its rapidly growing portfolio of luxury hotels to Bahamas, with the opening of the Rosewood Baha Mar along the pristine beaches of Nassau on New Providence Island.

Rosewood Baha Mar features 237 guestrooms, suites and beachfront villas. Many of the guestrooms and suites connect to adjacent rooms to create a variety of multi-bedroom configurations, ideally suited for family travel.

Rooms and suites are adorned with unique artworks by Bahamian artists and accent pieces made with woven rattans, rope, and painted grass cloths to create a distinctly Bahamian aesthetic.

All accommodation options feature private balconies with furnished outdoor living areas, as well as individual service from personal butlers. Four luxurious villas, one that is six bedrooms and three that are three bedrooms, offer exceptional tranquility, exclusive services and private plunge pools.

Amenities at Rosewood Baha Mar include four signature dining venues. These include Commonwealth, a farm-to-table restaurant with a private Rum Room for island-style dinners; Costa, serving coastal cuisine with a Mexican twist in a contemporary outdoor setting; Manor Bar featuring classic cocktails in a refined setting; and The Library, the perfect spot to enjoy elegant afternoon tea or fine champagne with a menu of sweet and savory pastries and desserts.

Recreational facilities include a spa, fitness center, two private swimming pools and luxury cabanas. Additionally, guests have direct and private beach access.

The twelve meeting and event spaces include a 4,950-square-foot ballroom with a walkout terrace and courtyard, meeting room, boardrooms, private dining room and al fresco event areas such as the Rosewood Beach.

“We are thrilled to open Rosewood Baha Mar and unveil a one-of-a-kind destination that celebrates the island’s unique traditions and effortless elegance,” said Luigi Romaniello, managing director of Rosewood Baha Mar. “We hope that when our guests arrive, they will feel as though they have arrived at their private vacation home, where they can share special moments with loved ones and create memories that will last a lifetime.”
