The Algarve Congress Centre (ACC), one of the largest
and most modern MICE facilities in Portugal, has opened next to
Vilamoura Marina and the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Algarve Resort.
After a EUR 10 million investment from parent company Minor Hotels
Group, the new Algarve Congress Centre offers a
selection of rooms and venues for events ranging from seminars and
parties, to conferences, product launches and more.
"It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome the
opening of the Algarve Congress Centre, which enhances the guest
offering at Tivoli Marina Vilamoura, already one of the most
prestigious five-star hotels for holding conferences and events in
the Algarve, and also repositions the property as a key player in
the MICE market, both in Portugal and Europe," said Jorge Beldade,
Regional Operations Director of the Algarve region. "Combining a
privileged location with specialised teams, this new venue
maximises our reach and ability to organise any type of event,
always maintaining the precision and excellence that our patrons
have become used to."
The ACC features 22
rooms filled with natural light, spread over a total area of 7,050
square metres, with a total capacity for 3,000 people.
congress centre includes a versatile plenary room, the Fénix,
which features a 10-metre high ceiling and is divisible into up to
six individual rooms, plus a 700-sqm terrace with
270-degree views over Vilamoura Marina and the Atlantic Ocean.
In addition, large terraces and a panoramic rooftop, totalling
2,600 square metres, promise to invigorate events with memorable
views of the ocean, the beach and the marina.
The ACC is also equipped with the necessary infrastructure to
support heavy loads, including loading and unloading zones and
plenty of complimentary parking.
