Anthony Lark Explains PHIST (Phuket Hotels for Islands Sustaining Tourism) Forum 2018

[HD video interview and podcast below] Exclusive HD video interview with Mr. Anthony Lark, President of the Phuket Hotels Association, about the inaugural PHIST (Phuket Hotels for Islands Sustaining Tourism) forum.

The half-day forum, held at the JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa on Mai Khao Beach in the north of Phuket, attracted some 550 delegates, around 100 of whom had travelled to Phuket from outside the city, and some even from overseas.

PHIST 2018 comprised a few workshops, a small exhibition area where suppliers of 'green' products showcased their wares, and the main forum which had an excellent assortment of speakers from across the hospiatlity and tourism industry.

In this interview filmed in the morning of 24 September 2018 before PHIST got underway, Steven Howard asks Anthony to tell us more about the event, how its success will be measured, why PHIST has been created, and whether they have ambitions for PHIST to become an annual event that attracts an even greater number of delegates from the Asia Pacific region, and if the dates for 2019 have already been decided. All that and much, much more in the video and podcast below.
