China Airlines Takes Delivery of Special
Airbus A350-900
|
China Airlines has taken delivery of a very
special Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
The new aircraft, the airline’s fourteenth A350, is the first in Taiwan to
feature a joint Airbus livery and the only Airbus joint liveried
aircraft to feature corporate colors.
The livery, which combines the airline’s
distinctive plum blossom logo with Airbus’ exclusive A350 XWB
carbon fibre pattern, was applied using spray paint, a departure
from the traditional practice of digitally printed aircraft
livery.
China Airlines operates its A350 aircraft on
non-stop long-haul routes, including services from Taipei to
Europe and North America as well as on select routes in the Asia
Pacific region.
Chna Airlines’ newest aircraft will officially
enter service on 26 October 2018 on the busy Taipei-Hong Kong
route.
