Cuisine at Raya Heritage Resort in Chiang Mai, Thailand - Interview with Executive Chef

In this interview, filmed at the resort on 17 September 2018, Steven Howard asks Chef Somyot what guests can expect from the F&B outlets at this luxurious Chiang Mai hotel.

We discuss the very impressive organic garden and Chef Somyot tells us just how much of the hotel's daily vegetable needs the garden is expected to produce in the future.

Chef Somyot also gives us a little bit of information on his background, tells us the food that he loves to eat, and whether hotel guests can accompany him to the market to learn about Thai produce, and whether there are any cooking lessons available at the hotel.

We also discuss how famous Chiang Mai cuisine - such as Khao Soi, Sai Eua, Nam Prik Noo and others - features on the menu at the hotel. All this and much, much more in the video and podcast below.
