Japan Airlines (JAL) has unveiled plans to establish a new low-cost carrier (LCC) for the international market.

The new LCC will specifically feature international routes with medium to long-haul flights.

The name of the new LCC is yet to be announced, but there are tentative plans to establish the company by July 2018.
