Hilton Opens First DoubleTree Resort in Malaysia

Hilton has opened the first resort-style DoubleTree hotel in Malaysia.

The DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Penang is located in the vibrant beach area on Penang’s north coast.

The resort is just 45 minutes’ drive from Penang International Airport and 20 minutes from Georgetown, the island’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed capital, which is accessible via a complimentary shuttle bus service from the hotel.

“Blessed with a rich history, diverse culture and tropical scenery, Penang is a truly enchanting destination. As the first DoubleTree resort in Malaysia, we are delighted to bring the brand’s warmth and genuine hospitality to the country, as epitomized by the welcome cookie we offer to all our guests,” said Jamie Mead, Regional General Manager, Hilton Malaysia.
