Lao Airlines and Bangkok Airways Codesharing
on Select Routes

Lao Airlines (QV) and Bangkok Airways (PG) are
now codesharing on select routes between Thailand and Lao PDR.
Under the agreement, Lao Airlines put its “QV” designator
code on Bangkok Airways’ flights, serving roundtrip flights on
Bangkok-Vientiane and Bangkok-Luang Prabang.
Bangkok
Airways now puts its “PG” designator code on Lao Airlines’ flights,
serving roundtrip routes on Vientiane-Bangkok, Luang
Prabang-Bangkok, Pakse-Bangkok and Luang Prabang-Chiang Mai.
Mr. Puttipong
Prasarttong-Osoth, President of Bangkok Airways, said, “The
codeshare partnership with Lao Airlines is a significant
achievement in the airlines’ network development strategy. This
offers business and leisure travelers a convenient and seamless
access to well known destinations of the two countries. Moreover,
Lao Airlines’ passengers traveling on Bangkok Airways will enjoy the boutique airline’s unparalleled services such as lounge access
and in-flight meal.”

Vice President of Lao Airlines, said, “We are delighted to have an
excellent partner, Bangkok Airways, to help expand our network
which will provide customers with an enhanced network to travel
between Lao PDR and Thailand. This expanded cooperation allows Lao
Airlines to strengthen its own presence throughout Asia.”
